Summary of functions:
Dye Penetrant (NDT) inspector of aerospace components

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing work in accordance with internal documents.
  • Accessing on quality documents/systems.
  • Completing work logs and daily check sheets.
  • Inspecting work and sentencing non-conforming parts.
  • Maintaining a good working standard within

Experience / Qualifications:
  • Current certification to NAS410/EN4179 preferred but will review PCN qualifications and previously qualified candidates.
  • Familiar with NADCAP accreditation.
  • Prepared to learn other processes within cell as required.
  • Computer literate in word and excel.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings to attain relevant information required.
  • Able to read and interpret customer specifications.
  • Familiarity with aerospace procedure and acceptance.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Can work individually or part of a team.

FGP Lufton, Lufton Trading Estate, Yeovil

Hours:

Alternating Early/ Late Shift – Early Shift: Monday to Thursday 07.00am to 3.30pm &
Fridays 07:00am to 1.00pm. Late Shift: Monday to Thursday 3:30pm to 12.00am.
